When a matchstick is brought near the mouth of the test tube in which a metal has reacted with sulphuric acid, the matchstick produces a pop-sound nd stops burning. this is due to evolution of hydrogen gas after the reaction

ainshu: in this answer where the sulphuric acid comes
ashish433: but u didn't written any reactant so i gives u example
ainshu: ok
ainshu: can u plz say me what will its inference

When the ignited matchstick is brought close to the mouth of the gas tube, if it glows with even more brightness then we can say that the gas evolving is oxygen.

ainshu: can u plz say what will be it's inference
Flicker: Through this observation we could conclude that the gases evolved could be oxygen or hydrogen.
ainshu: thanks
