Political parties and Pressure groups are important part of Democracy.

Here is four difference between these two.

  1. Political parties has a common political agenda while pressure group just act as check over any specific agenda or action.
  2. political parties essentially participate in election and form government or opposition while pressure group doesn't participate in governance.
  3. Political parties has affiliation from election commission while Pressure group need not to be so necessarily.
  4. Political parties may be Part of Governing Bodies but Pressure group essentially not part of Governing body.
