***IRONY is used to show contrast between reality (what is happening) and expectations (situation which is expected to happen)

****There are 3 types of irony

1)Verbal irony -

it is used when the reality is opposite of what the speaker is saying

2) Situational irony -

it is used when someone plans something but then he/she come to know that it cannot happen ..

3) Dramatic irony -

it is used when the reality is opposite of what the audience (watching a drama ) thinks about the characters or the next scenes
