The Kabuliwala, Rahmat is a fruit peddlar.Tge moment he saw Mini he tries his best to establish a friendship with her.Initially Mini is wary of him but later on she becomes a close friend of his.He always listens patiently to all that mini has to say.
Rahmat has one weakness- anger.This is what made him get into prison for several years for stabbing a man.When he us released the first place he visits is mini's house and at that time mini had grown up and was going to get married.To minis father he showed a piece of paper with his daughter's tiny hand impression.This shows the attachment he had with mini.
Hence the Kabuliwala shows to be a very human person.
