Hallock was not so much interested in writing ghost stories.Whenever he got the invitation of writing ghost that time only he used to write such stories.But his ghost stories become popular automatically.This seemed his experience and eagerness to write stories though he is not interested.That is why he utter the words that he do not specialize in ghost stories ,but more or less they seemed to specialize in me.
