Britishers also came because our nation vas very wealthy and prosperous as it was known as the golden bird . Indian soil had the capacity to grow indigo and opium . Indian soil was also very fertile and excellent for agricultura , here many kinds of spices were also grown . And diamonds were also first found in India . Britishers also came here to spread their language English too as well as with the intention to loot our country.
