Answer:

Hello

For the expansion and prosperity of their nation . Britishers came to India in the 1600s but then India was a strong nation under the rule of Jehangir so they intended to be traders but after the Nadir Shah's invasion of India our nation became weak and the Britishers took advantage of it. Britishers also came because our nation vas very wealthy and prosperous as it was known as the golden bird . Indian soil had the capacity to grow indigo and opium . Indian soil was also very fertile and excellent for agricultura , here many kinds of spices were also grown . And diamonds were also first found in India . Britishers also came here to spread their language English too as well as with the intention to loot our country.

Thanks , bye ❤️
