Due to increase in tax the poor peasants were suffering a lot as there agricultural land revinue was very high then that of there ability. Though they were very poor but then also they were forced and threatened by the tax colleters to pay the tax for which the poor farmers became much poorer. By this way British land tax system completely exploited the Indians. For which the poors became more and more poor.
