British rule would have surely Collapsed if Indians had not cooperated....

but sadly there were many traitors...who.. helped the British in establishing their rules and policies... ways of living...etc..

there were also many people who in fear... obeyed the British....they feared that if they didn't obey them... they'll mistreat the Indians...
