√British trade made huge impact due to following reasons :-
√When Indians buy a product they always check ☑ the brand name on its back
for example= "MADE IN MANCHESTER"
√Britishers also used images of Indian god and goddess to signify it's pure quality
√They gained Political power due to which"Khadi" was not in use for many people. And also due to it's High cost
√European power also gained little more advantage on Indian cotton textiles. which thus changed the whole scenario.
HOPE THAT CLEARS IT
IF YES THEN CHEERS! :-)
