Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

Anil earns Rs. 10500 in a month. He spends 2/3 of his money on food and 1/5 of remaining money on travelling.

To find:-

Find the expenditure incurred on both seperately.

Solution:-

Earning money aid Anil in a month=Rs. 10500

Money spends on food=2/3 of the money

=>(2/3)×10500

=>(2×10500)/3

=>21000/3

=>7000

Money spends on food=Rs. 7000

Remaining money =Total money - Spent money

=>Rs. 10500 - Rs. 7000

=>Rs. 3500

Money spends on travelling=1/5 of the remaining money

=>(1/5)×3500

=>3500/5

=>700

Money spends on travelling=Rs. 700

Answer:-
