hiii!!!
here's ur answer...
I think u mistyped that bro's father. it should be brim's father.
ok now come to ur question...
brim's father is three times brim's age.
let the age of brim be x.
therefore age of his father = 3x.
sum of their ages is 72
==> x + 3x = 72
==> 4x = 72
==> x = 72/4
==> x = 18
hence, brim's age = x
= 18 years
his father's age = 3x
= 3 × 18
= 54 years
hope this helps u..!!

Let Brim's age be 'x'
Brim's father age = 3x
3x + x = 72
4x = 72
x = 72/4
x = 18
Brim's age = 18 years
Brim's father age = 3(18) = 54 years
Brim's father age = 3x
3x + x = 72
4x = 72
x = 72/4
x = 18
Brim's age = 18 years
Brim's father age = 3(18) = 54 years
