Northern Plains it has Alluvial soil which is very fertile as soil come from the mountain from the North side and which is very fertile and rich in humus it is table for the cultivation of wheat wheat and rice it is the most coolest place Northern Plains such as the Leh Ladakh is filled with great great cultural resources

northern plains lies to the southern Himalayas. bounded by himalaya in north and deccan plateaus in south and from Punjab in west to Assam in east.

it is called as indo- gangatic plain.
