Bronze is an alloy consisting primarily of copper, commonly with about 12% tin and often with the addition of other metals (such as aluminium, manganesenickel orzinc) and sometimes non-metals or metalloids such as arsenic, phosphorus orsilicon.

Hey here's the answer to your question.

Bronze is an alloy. There are many different bronze alloys but the most modern one is made up of 88% copper and 12% tin. Bronze alloys are mainly used because bronze is a very strong metal. Bronze alloys made up of 4-5% tin are used to make springs, turbines, coins and blade. Bronze is used because it is easy to use in the alloying process.
