Brother : No sister. No partying from this year onward.
Sister : Why? what happened?
Brother : Nothing happened. It's my new year resolution. My new year resolution is to stop wasting time partying and study as much as possible and make a bright future.
Sister : Ha, Ha. Let's see how long this resolution lasts. Your new year resolutions are plain bluffs. Last year you made your resolution to lose weight but ended up gaining more and more.
Brother : No. I'm serious this time. You will see. So what about your new year resolution. Anything in mind?
Sister : No, nothing. I am off of this resolution thing. These are such a waste of time. Besides I have everything as I want. I don't want to change anything about myself. So no resolution. Good luck though with yours.
Sister: Brother, what New Year resolutions are you going to make?
Brother: Not any sis, I don’t believe in making New Year resolutions and then breaking them later on.
Sister: I wonder why people wait for New Year eve to start doing something good!
Brother: Exactly, I used to make New Year resolutions; then I realized I could hardly keep those resolutions. One of my mentors taught me it is better to start doing something good at any time of the year than wait and waste invaluable time waiting for the New Year to start doing something good.
Sister: Wow! Brother, there is much wisdom and weight in what you have said. We should not wait for the New Year eve to start doing good.
