Try applying reverse psychology. It may or may not work. Instead of asking him to stop smoking, buy a pack of cigarettes and give him. Also ask him to smoke in front of you which he may not consider in the beginning but don't give up.He might not do it initially but finally when he does that take out another cigarette from the pack put it in your mouth and ask him for a lighter. He would get really mad at you and wouldn't give you lighter. Then you threaten him that if you don't give up smoking you would start doing it yourself.This may make your brother feel guilty and he could quit smoking.
