Brutes said to the people that caesar had become ambitious and wanted to be the king of Rome. He would have made everyone his bondman if caesar would have lived. Brutes said to the people of Rome that caesar was his good friend and he loved caesar but brutes loved Rome more. Brutes just forgot all the sufferings and sacrifices of caesar and killed him.
