BRUTUS: then none have i offended. I have done no more to Ceaser then you shall do to brutus in which context does brutus say these words? how does brutus justify his action? what was the immediate reaction of the listeners?

Brutus says this words during his speech at the pulpit . Brutus justifies his action by saying that ceaser was ambitious, a dictator etc . the roman citizens on hearing his speech turned against ceaser and said that Rome was lucky to be rid of him and supported the conspirators
