"Buland Darwaza (1601) was built by Mughal emperor Akbar, in Fatehpur Sikri, Agra.
It was built to mark his victory over Gujarat and is also known as ‘Gate of Victory’.
It took 12 years to build this architectural wonder which is built with Hindu and Persian style of architecture.
Buland Darwaza forms an entrance to Jama Masjid on the west side.
