Height it penetrates the plank (s) = 2 cm
Then,
v sq. = u sq. - 2as
0 sq. = 10 sq. - 2×a×2
0 = 100 - 4a
4a = 100
a =100/4
a =50 m/s sq.
Final velocity (v) = 0 m/s
