It is ban for farmers.

As Farmers need average production not too less and not too more.

If there will be bumper production then demand of the product will decrease and its prices will fall. Which is a very struggling situation for farmers.

A bumper harvest is more of a blessing for the growers than a bane.

Explanation:

They reap more when farmers have a bumper harvest, and earn a lot from sales. Nonetheless, that relies on the demand quality, shipping efficiency and/or storage facility capacity. If the goods of the growers hit the market in a timely fashion, they are more likely to get more returns and it becomes a success story.

A bane Imagine if all the farmers who planted the same crop as you did had a bumper harvest that would mean you're not the only person with plenty. The only way to get a good price from the consumer is if the goods hit the market first or early enough.

Most growers do not prepare well at times and their bumper harvest ends up losing due to lack of storage and/or transportation.  Most of the time, however, the bumper harvest ends in the long run as a blessing to the growers. The farmers do not really have much to risk because they are working with a surplus.
