 kg

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Bunny purchased 3\frac{1}{2}3

2

1

kg apples and  4\frac{3}{4}4

4

3

kg oranges .

To Find : What is the total weight of fruits purchased by her ?

Bunny purchased apples = 3\frac{1}{2}3

2

1

kg

                                              =\frac{7}{2}

2

7

kg

bunny purchased oranges = 4\frac{3}{4}4

4

3

kg

                                              =\frac{19}{4}

4

19

kg

Total weight = \frac{7}{2}+\frac{19}{4}

7

+

4

19

                     = \frac{14+19}{4}

4

14+19

                     = \frac{33}{4}

\mathsf{Bunny \:  bought  \:  \: apples = 5\frac{1}{2} \: or \:\frac{11}{2} kg}

\mathsf{Bunny \:  bought \:  Oranges = 2\frac{1}{4}or\frac{9}{4}kg}

Addition :-

 \mathsf{total \: quantity \:  = \frac{9}{4}+\frac{11}{2}}

So, as you can see that the denominator are not equal , we have to do the LCM of the denominators . i.e,

4 and 2 [ See the attachment I have done the LCM]

LCM = 4

Now, as we have got the denominator , we have to equal the numerator .

\frac{9×1}{4 \times 1}=\frac{9}{4}

\frac{11×2}{2×2}=\frac{22}{4}

So, \frac{9+22}{4}

=> \frac{31}{4}

Answer :-

\frac{31}{4} \: or \: 7\frac{3}{4}

Hope it helps friend !
