Burning fossil fuels is a cause of global warming. Justify this statement.

Answer:

The burning of huge reservoirs of carbon (fossil fuels) generates carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide and oxide of nitrogen.  

For example- Carbon dioxide singly has the capability to trap sun heat energy falling on earth’s surface and result in a major impact in green house effect which leads to global warming.

The most effective gas responsible for global warming is C02 gas , when the fossil fuels burns such as coal , oil , petroleum , Liquefied Petroleum Gas etc they release gases like  methane , oxides of nitrogen , sulphur and  C02 which effects the environment and causes global warming
