Burning of candle evaporates most of the wax of the candle. And those evaporated wax can't be get. Whereas in melting of wax we can get that much wax in molten state. Have this is a reversible change.

Burning of candle is an irreversible change while melting of wax is a reversible change because when a candle is burning the wick undergoes combustion and turns to carbon . Some of the wax too burns and changes to carbon dioxide and water .

While when wax melts it is an example of a simple state change i.e. from solid to liguid because of heating , and no. chemical change or reaction takes place . It is also a reversible change .
