it is a physical change as by burning it changes from a cylindrical vessel to a spilled wax .

AnikGupta: pls mark as brainliest if it helped you
ndhi580: isn"t it both changes???
AnikGupta: nope
AnikGupta: because there is no change in it's composition
ndhi580: during the burning process chemical reaction is also taking place!!
AnikGupta: so it is a physical not a chemical change
AnikGupta: but it doesn't matter with the medium which is solid ok
ndhi580: new substance smoke is also produced
AnikGupta: but smoke is produced after burning the thread not wax
