PROBLEM OF BURNING CROP STUBBLES

Burning the crops troubles by farmers are contributing to the degradation of air quality in the environment and along with that, it is responsible for creating smoke due to which hundreds of accident take place every year during winters. Though there are various laws passed to keep a check over the burning of stubbles still farmers continue to do so. This problem can be reduced by some efforts by the government like educating the farmers about the harmful effects of burning the stubbles, providing them with the options of substituting the burning of stubbles, etc. The burning of crop stubbles should be reduced and it will only be done by the collective efforts of the Government and the farmers.
