burning fossil fuels results global warming
and burning of fossil fuels generate various gases like carbon dioxide, nitrogen etc which are harmful and increases the earth's temperature. due to this global warming the ozone layer is depleting day by day and the ultra violet rays are directly falling on the earth and cause harm. due to this global warming the glacier and the ice in himalyas are melting and that causes even harm to animals living in those regions like polar bear.
hope the answer helps you

•Global warming is mainly due to too much of Carbon dioxide in he atmosphere.
• This CO2 is caused when fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas are burnt or cut down and burning forests.
• CO2 is a heat- trapping gas that is released when fossil fuels are burnt.
• Though there are many heat trapping gases like methane and water vapour, but carbon dioxide puts us at the greatest risk of irreversible changes if it continues to accumulate and unabated in the atmosphere.
• CO2 has the highest positive Radiative Forcing(RF) Value.
°RF is the amount of Energy reaching the Earth's surface.
•Though Methane and other gases are effective at trapping heat, they don't contribute as much to global warming due to their less abundance in the atmosphere.
