any process which includes phase change it can be said chemical change. Here the incense stick is in solid phase, when it is burnt it directly turns into gaseous form jumping the liquid phase i.e solid to gaseous state so due chemical process between the flame i.e oxygen and the chemical which is in the incense stick the phase of the stick is changed.
