In burning magnesiun reacts with the oxygen in the actmosphere magnesium oxide
the equation is

2 Mg +  O_{2}  ---->  2MgO
thus we can see that it is a combination reaction.

AcharyaVII: Give the balanced equation a nd show this is displacemet
AcharyaVII: *displacement
Rishabh01: Actually
AcharyaVII: SAY..
Rishabh01: I am saying that it is Displacement it is written in my Lab Manual
AcharyaVII: Every said word is not true it may be a misprint
Rishabh01: But may be it is Misprint, It Is Giving Me one mark
AcharyaVII: Ask your teacher
Marylene: its definitely combination
AcharyaVII: Let's see what does his teacher say

Burning of magnesium in  air with a dazzling white flame is actually a combination reaction where magnesium reacts with atmospheric oxygen to form its respective oxide.
2Mg+O_{2} =2MgO.
Hence the correct answer is (d)
