Combustion is a chemical process or areaction between Fuel (Hydrocarbon)and Oxygen. When fuel and oxygenreact it releases the heat and light energy. Heat and light energy then result in the flame. So, the formula forCombustion reaction is Hydrobcarbon + Oxygen = Heat energy.
