M= 4000 Kg

u= 58 Km/hr= 290/18 m/s= 16.11 m/s

v= 0 Km/hr= 0m/s ( Bus is to be brought to rest)

S= 40m

We know that,

v^{2}-u^{2}= 2as

-(16.11)= 80a

-259.5= 80a

a=-3.2 m/s^{2}

F=ma

F= 4000 x -3.2

F=-12800N

Hope it helps.

Answer:

M=4000kg

u=58km/hr=0m/s(Bus is to be brought to rest)

s=40m

We know that,

v2-u2=2as

-(16.11)=80a

-259.5=80a

-a=-3.2m/s2

f=ma

f=4000×-3.2

f=-12800 N
