Solution
Initial velocity , u = 0 m/s
[ ∵ starts from rest ]
Acceleration , a = 3 m/s²
Time , t = 6 s
Final Velocity , v = ? m/s
Distance , s = ? m

Apply 1 st equation of motion ,
⇒ v = u + at
⇒ v = (0) + (3)(6)
⇒ v = 0 + 18
⇒ v = 18 m/s
So , Velocity acquired is 18 m/s

Distance travelled , s = ? m
Apply 3 rd equation of motion ,
⇒ v² - u² = 2as
⇒ (18)² - (0)² = 2(3)s
⇒ 324 - 0 = 6s
⇒ 6s = 324
⇒ s = 54 m
So , distance travelled is 54 m
