Answer:

Bus X travels Faster

Step-by-step explanation:

Bus X :

Distance = 60 km

Time = 90 minutes

Speed = Distance / Time = 60 km / 90 min = 0.67 km / min

Bus Y:

Distance = 50 km

Time = 80 minutes

Speed = Distance / Time = 50 km / 80 min = 0.62 km / min

Since Bus X has a greater speed than Bus Y, Bus X travels faster than Bus Y by 0.05 km / min

sneha20695: thank u alot

sneha20695: sorry , i have a doubt isn't it compulsory to convert it to km/h or m/s

Hello!

Here is your answer:

X travels: 60KM in 90 Min

Y travels: 50KM in 80 Min

-------------------

First of all, we have to find its speed:

Speed X: Distance/time =    \frac{60}{90} = 0.67 km/min

Speed Y: Distance/time =     \frac{50}{80} = 0.62 km/min

So, Here the most speed is of X(0.67km).

--------------------------------

Therefore, X bus is faster in both bus because, X travels 0.67-0.62 = 0.5km/min.

X travels 0.5km faster than Y.
