Buses and trucks have wider wheels than cars. Some of them also have double wheels at the back. Can you explain, why?

we know that as area increases pressure decreases that is why trucks and buses have broader wheels . If trucks and buses have less broader wheels , they will exert more pressure and sink into the earth .

Buses and trucks have double wheels at the back because these are heavy vehicles with most of the loads resting towards the back. Also, the engine that drives the vehicle is attached to the back wheels so the double back wheels provides better hold on the ground.
