Wholesale : The buyer quantity should be such that it is not viable for any end user to take that much quantity and all or part of that quantity will have to be sold ahead. Obviously the rate will be different from retail so that this business can also make some money on it's sale.
A businessman who is selling on retail needs to buy goods at the lowest prices to maximize profits. The businessman buys from is a wholesaler and sells to different retailers. He, in turn, buys his goods from the manufacturer or the farmer, who finds it easier and cheaper to sell at one location to the wholesaler than to sell to hundreds of different retailers.
Naturally, the wholesaler adds his margin to his cost price and then sells it to the retailer. Since the quantities are large the margins can be small. As it is also easier for both the manufacturers/farmers and the retailers (buyers) to sell or buy from one location, most wholesalers of a particular good are situated in the same locality.
So we can say that Business is totally related and dependent to wholesale market.
