This context has been taken from the chapter “A letter to god” and these lines have been spoken by Lencho who is a farmer and the main character. He says these lines because as his field was totally destroyed by hail he needed money to grow the crop or his family would go hungry throughout the year , because he had faith in god so he decided to go to post office to write a letter to God and he posted it after few days he came to check for the letter and when he opened it he saw that there were only 70 pesos inside it, actually the 70 pesos were not given by God but they were given by the postmaster and his friends as an act of charity but lunch you thought these 70 pesos were sent to him by God. As he had faith in God he thought that the employees of the post office must have stolen the remaining 30 pesos because God could not have made a mistake so he again wrote a letter to God saying him to send the remaining pesos but sending him the money by not mailing him because the post office employees are bunch of crooks
