The above lines are taken from the story named "The thief's story".
- The servant wanted to work for him and he agreed even without regular pay. Anil was disappointed with the taste of the food but he took the responsibility to teach him.
- Hari found it difficult to rob Anil because he would not even notice that he was being robbed. He knew that anil would be merely sad when he discovered the theft.
- He would not be sad because of the theft of his hard-earned money, but the trust he showed would bother him. Hari had to return to him because he did not have any friends and staying at a hotel would make others suspicious.
- Hari was conscious of the seriousness yet chose to return.
