Hi buddy
here is your answer
- If we add salt in water it get dissolve and forms a salt solution
- salt get dissolve in water until it occupy the interspace left in water
- Within a point of time the salt can't get further dissolve in water because the water can no longer dissolve the salt
- so the salt gets settle under the vessel in which water is kept
♡solution in which salt can dissolve is known as saturated solution
♡solution in which salt settle at the bottom is known as unsaturated solution
hope it helps

Answer:
The bonds in salt compounds are called ionic because they both have an electrical charge—the chloride ion is negatively charged and the sodium ion is positively charged. ... When salt is mixed with water, the salt dissolves because the covalent bonds of water are stronger than the ionic bonds in the salt molecules.
