1) Bassanio was in belmont to woo portia and try his luck in the lottery of caskets.
2) Portia says she was the lord of this mansion queen over herself and and master of her servants. But now her master is Bassanio.
3)He promised he'll never loose the ring given by portia and if it does then consider Bassanio to be dead. He does not keep the promise as seen in Act 4.
4)Bassanio is a great lover as he promises his wife he'll never loose the ring given by her. Bassanio is a great friend as he was willing to help Antonio even though he was imprisoned because of Bassanio.
5) Bassanio is speechless because of the words given by portia. His happiness is shortlived as Salerio informs him about Antonia and his misery.
