but third orbit contains 18 electron then potassium's third orbit contains 8 electron and fourth orbit contains 1 electron why?​

because when 8 electrons fill in 3rd orbit new orbit starts filling and last orbit also fill simultaneous

. thus potassium has 8 electrons in 3rd orbit and 1 in fourth
