Length of lawn =30m

Breadth of lawn =28m

Therefore,

Area of lawn (A  )=l×b=30×28=840m  

Now,

Length of lawn including path =30+2+2=34m

Breadth of lawn including path =28+2+2=32m

Therefore,

Area of lawn including path (A )=34×32=1088m

Therefore,

Area of path

=1088−840=248m

Cost of levelling =Rs.5 per square meter

Therefore,

Cost of levelling path =5×248=Rs.1240
