By any method can ice be changed to vapour directly?

Yes,  ice changed directly to water vapour by the process of sublimation. Ice can be changed to water vapor by adding some pressure components. When it is highly introduced in vaccum then the pressure becomes negative and it can change and solid material into vaporisation directly.Or Ice has a vapor pressure high enough to allow it to sublime. You can test this by placing an ice cube in a cup in the freezer. The ice cube will slowly shrink away to nothing.
