Given:-

  • Force ,F = 5 N

  • Displacement ,s = 2 m

To Find:-

  • Work done ,W

Solution:-

As we know that Work Done is defined when some force acts on a body and its produce a displacemet in the body.

then we said the work is done.

W = Fs

W denotes work done

F denotes Force

s denotes displacemet

Substitute the value we get

→ W = 5 × 2

→ W = 10 J

Therefore, the work done is 10 Joule.

Answer:

Question

By applying a force of 5N a substance is displaced by 2m,find the work done in this process

Given :-

Force applied (F) = 5 N

Displacement of body (S) = 2 M

To Find :-

Force applied

Solution :-

As we know that work done is defined as the product of force and displacement

 \huge \tt \: W = fs

W = 5 × 2

W = 10

W = 10 J

Hence, work done by body is 10 Joule.
