kirchoffs current law ;-  the law states that at junction of any electrical circuit the sum of current which come in is always equal in total outgoing current ,

so we can apply the kirchoffs law here,

i.e.  i₁ + i₂ + i₃=  i₄ + i₅ = 0

the currents which comes inside and leaving the junction is equal to zero

ΣⁿIi = 0

so the current in 8Ω is 0.
