Here,

x+y/2=4

or,2x+y=8.....(1)

(multiplying both sides by 2)

And,

x/3+2y=5....(2)

2x+ 12y=30 [Multiplying both sides by 6]

Solving (1) and (2)

2x+y=8

2x+12y=30

-11y=-22

or, y=2

Then,

putting y=2 in eqn (1) we get,

2x+y=8

2x+2=8

2x=6

x=3

Therefore, x=3 and y=2.
