suppose a cube is of edge x can.

we know that

surface area of cube is directly proportional to (edge)².

Therefore if we double the edge of cube then the new surface area would be 4 times the original one.

In the same way volume of cube is directly proportional to (edge)³.

Therefore the new volume would be 8 times the previous one
