by using prime factorisation method you get value of root 12 as 2 × root3 and root 18 as 3× root2 according to question the statement says 2 root3 + 3 root2 -( root2 + root3) solving this you get answer as 2 root2 + root3 if you want more precise answer then you can put the values of root 2 and root 3 which is 1.414 and 1.732 applying this you get answer as 4.6 approx
