By how much should the area of rectangle be increased of its length (l) and breadth (b) are increased by 30 units and 40 units respectively.

If length is increased by a % and breadth increased by b%

Then area increases by =(a+b+ab/100)%
=>(40+30+1200/100)%=70+12=82%
