By just observing the digits at ones place, tell which of the following can be perfect squares? 1026,1022,1024,1027 ​

1024 is a square because it unit digit is 4 and 4 is also a square of 2.

To find:

Perfect square

Solution:

No square numbers ends with 2, 3, 7 or 8.

The number of zeros at the end of a square number is always even.

A number ending with an odd number of zeros is never a perfect square.

1026 is not a perfect square.

√1026 = 32.03

√1022 = 31.96

√1024 = 32

√1027 = 32.04

Hence : 32^2 = 1024

Perfect Square is 1024
