It was always my dream to win a big lottery ticket. I have always been very fond of buying lottery tickets and also daydreaming and planning of investing the money and enjoying it. It was like a dream when the day I won a lottery ticket. I woke up and decided to read the newspaper as usual. I thought to read through the paper first and then go through the result of the lottery. As I was reading through the news items, advertisements, editorials, etc. my heart was continuously thumping within me and making me feels very- very uncomfortable. I opened the page where the result was printed and got shocked. I felt as if a current of electricity run through my body. What had happened was that the very first number in the A-Series of numbers was mine. Did I have to believe it, or was I seeing a dream with my eyes open. I just could not make myself believe it as; it must surely be a misprint. I shouted in excitement very loudly, calling out to my mother, and asking her to come to me at once. I had won the first prize of 50 lakhs. This was the happiest day of my life not only because I had won a large sum of money but because I had got what I had been yearning for, for long years. I finally felt that lady luck smiling at me. I was dancing in joy, calling my all friends one by one and telling them about the good news. This money will definitely help my family and me. But first I want to have some celebrations, so that evening I and my family went to the movies and the mall for some entertainment.
