Answer:

The ratio which has taken by Mistake

It is divided in ratio 2:3:4

So let,2x+3x+4x=117

9x=117x=13

So because of A=2x

Value of A=2*13=26

Same as value of B=3*13=39

And value of C=4*13=52

So, C gained the most and and 13 by B and 26 by A

--------------------------

Now, Original ratio

Orginal ratio of A, B and C

1/2:1/3:1/4= 6: 4 : 3 [ Divide by 12 ]

∴ Share of A = 6/13× 117 = ₹ 54

Share of B = 4/13× 117 = ₹ 36

and share of C = 3/13× 117 = ₹ 27

Therefore, it is clear from above calculation that C gains maximum i.e. ₹ (52-27) = Rs 25

AnswEr :

First we will calculate Mistake Ratio :

  • A : B : C = 2 : 3 : 4

Let the ratios be 2x, 3x and 4x to be divided among A, B and C respectively.

According to the Question Now :

⇒ A + B + C = Rs. 117

⇒ 2x + 3x + 4x = 117

⇒ 9x = 117

  • Dividing both term by 9

x = 13

S H A R E S B Y M I S T A K E :

◗ A = 2x = 2(13) = Rs. 26

◗ B = 3x = 3(13) = Rs. 39

◗ C = 4x = 4(13) = Rs. 52

Now we will calculate Original Ratio :

  • A : B : C = 1/2 : 1/3 : 1/4

we will change this Ratio in whole, for that we will multiply each of them by 12 i.e. LCM(2, 3, 4).

  • A : B : C = 1/2*12 : 1/3*12 : 1/4*12
  • A : B : C = 6 : 4 : 3

Let the Ratios be 6x, 4x and 3x to be divided among A, B and C respectively.

According to the Question Now :

⇒ A + B + C = Rs. 117

⇒ 6x + 4x + 3x = 117

⇒ 13x = 117

  • Dividing both term by 13

x = 9

O R I G I N A L S H A R E S :

◗ A = 6x = 6(9) = Rs. 54

◗ B = 4x = 4(9) = Rs. 36

◗ C = 3x = 3(9) = Rs. 27

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

In Mistake Ratio we can see that C Gained the Most and by Rs. (52 - 27) = Rs. 25

C Gained the most and by Rs. 25.
